 This hands-on class teaches the five strokes - effleurage, petrissage, friction, percussion/tapotement and vibration, plus the three types of movements - compression, traction and joint mobilizations - which make up classical Swedish massage. A short segment entitled “Soothers and Fixer-Uppers” is included to enrich the session and increase effectiveness. CEU’s are available through the NCBTMB for massage therapists & other health care professionals. Class minimum: 6
